ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Yesterday the Italian Association of Tax Lawyers (AIAT) was established in Rome. It aims to promote the professional profile of the tax lawyer, as well as training and professional updating in tax law, customs and international taxation and to protect the general interests of taxpayers, as well as collective interests of tax advocacy, also towards institutions, financial administration and jurisdictions. In this area the Association will organize courses, specialization schools, conferences, seminars and training activities in the tax sector, with characteristics of relevant scientificity.
“The AIAT, association of professionals – reads in a note -, wants to foster relationships of solidarity, friendship and collaboration between the Italian Tax Lawyers and professionals who exercise similar or similar activities abroad, with particular attention to young professionals and those who work in the international field; to this end it will deepen and study the legal, tax, economic and professional issues of interest for the category, also in a comparative and international perspective.
The Board of Directors and the Audit Board were appointed. President was appointed Angelo Cuva, President of the Chamber of Lawyers Tributaristi of Palermo and Professor of Law UNIPA; Vice Presidents Barbara Benazzi, President of the Chamber of Advocates Tributaristi of Liguria and Fabio Pace, President of the Chamber Lombarda degli Avvocati Tributaristi; Secretary Daniele Baldassare Giacalone, Vice President of the Chamber of Lawyers Tributaristi of Palermo, Treasurer Daniele Vitello, President of the Chamber Attorneys Tributaristi of Agrigento. Counselors Salvatore Barbera (Enna), Piero Bellante (Verona), Fabio Ciani (Milano), Accursio Gallo (Palermo) and Renato Torrisi (Catania). The College of Auditors is composed of Castrenze Giamportone, President of the Auditors of the Camera Avvocati Tributaristi di Palermo, Giuseppe Marino, the Forum of Naples and Giovanni Moschetti, President of the Tributaria Chamber of Padua and Professor of Tax Law UNIPD.
