Urso “No economic relapse from Trump-Meloni fight”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “I don’t think” that tensions with Donald Trump can have economic consequences: “American consumers love Made in Italy and do not want to give up.” So Adolfo Urso, Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy after the double round of open confrontation between US President and PM Giorgia Meloni, in an interview with National Newspapers.

“Last year, our export to the United States grew by 7.2%, despite new duties. In April he recorded an additional +12.1% on an annual basis, the best performance among European countries, a result that allowed us to place ourselves in the fourth global place, overcoming Japan and South Korea, two Asian giants,” he said.

“Italy is more and more competitive, it grows in the world and attracts the world in Itali, because we have a more resilient and more dynamic production system than others, so more capable of facing the crisis, seizing the opportunities,” Urso concludes.
