Qonto inaugurates the new European headquarters from 11,000 square meters in Paris to support the next phase of growth

PARIGI (FRANCIA) (ITALPRESS) – Qonto, the financial management solution for SMEs and free professionals with over 750,000 customers in eight European markets, today announces the opening of its new headquarters, “Qonto Bonne Nouvelle” (“Good News” in French) within an iconic building in the heart of Paris. With an area of 11,000 square meters, the new headquarters is almost double the previous Paris office of Qonto and has 900 stations distributed on nine floors.

The transfer marks a new chapter for the company and the new headquarters will accompany the next phase of the development of Qonto in Europe. The building is located at number 6 of Impasse Bonne Nouvelle, in an area that boasts almost two hundred years of commercial history. In the 1930s, Bazar Bonne-Nouvelle was one of the first department stores and business centres in Paris.

After the closure followed by a fire in 1930, the current structure was built in 1953 as a post office by architects Joseph Bukiet and André Gutton. The complex was the subject of an important renovation project led by Covéa Immobilier together with the architecture studio PCA-Stream, which preserved the original architecture in cement and metal, recovering the original volumes, opening it to the surrounding neighborhood and integrating new outdoor green spaces

With its 11,000 square meters, the site almost doubles the surface previously occupied by Qonto in Paris and represents a strategic base for the long term for activities in its eight European markets. Distributed on nine floors, it offers 900 workstations, more than 250 places in informal areas, 55 meeting rooms, 90 phone booths and two spaces for business events capable of hosting up to 425 people.

The building also includes three cafés, with barista service managed thanks to the collaboration with Trèfle, a French company active in inclusive catering that forms and employs people with disabilities. For the first time since its foundation in 2017, Qonto had the opportunity to design a tailor-made location for his own way of working.

In a context where hybrid and remote work is redefining the role of offices, Bonne Nouvelle was designed to meet different needs: from individual work to remote calls, from team collaboration to shared decisions, to large corporate events.

The new headquarters is also designed to help keep the focus on customers and corporate culture as the company grows. The spaces house portraits of entrepreneurs from all over Europe, a meeting room is dedicated to Qonto’s first customer, a map represents the European presence of the company and a listening area allows the teams to listen in person to customer testimonials.

“This day is a fundamental stage for Qonto. Together with our team of 1,700 Qontoers we already support over 750,000 businesses and free professionals in eight European markets, with millions of people using Qonto every day. Bonne Nouvelle is the place where we will build the next chapter of our history. In the path that will lead us to become a bank, our ambition is clear: to become the European champion of banking and financial management for SMEs and free professionals, empowered by artificial intelligence”, says Alexandre Prot, co-founder and CEO of Qonto.

“Our new headquarters will allow teams to work even more closely and will be a solid basis for continuous growth in Europe. Only in 2026 we have taken over 450 people and will continue to invest in the expansion of our staff and in the strengthening of our European presence,” he continues.
