ROMA (ITALPRESS) – It was signed by the Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy, sen. Adolfo Urso, the actuative decree that allocates 100 million euros to the support and relaunch of the chain of fashion, textiles and accessories, in implementation of article 3 of the Annual Law on Pmi (law 11 March 2026, n. 34).
“With this decree we give concrete answers to a key sector for the economy of our country. We invest in the future and competitiveness of enterprises, rewarding those who produce in Italy, enhances the national supply chain and protects the work and skills of our territories, with a strong and priority attention to the Mezzogiorno”, said Minister Urso.
“To defend the excellence and value of Made in Italy is not only an economic choice, but a precise mission of development and protection of our productive heritage,” he concluded.
The resources allocated to the Sustainable Growth Fund are aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises in the field for the realization of development programmes of an amount between 1 and 20 million euros. Projects will have to focus on the valorisation of production processes located in Italy, on the prevalent use of semi-finished products of Italian or European origin and on the strengthening of business aggregations along the value chain, allowing SMEs to innovate, grow and protect the employment and identity of the territories.
The intervention provides for lost fund grants and facilitated loans, with these loans up to 20% of eligible investments, for a maximum overall cover of 75% of expenditure. In detail, development plans will include productive investments for the creation, extension, conversion or restructuring of productive units, alongside process and organizational innovation projects up to 40% of investment and personnel training plans up to 20%. The decree also allows to facilitate, for production investment programmes with eligible expenditure of more than 5 million euros, industrial research projects and experimental development.
The system of the decree also guarantees a specific attention to the fabric of micro and small enterprises, to which is reserved 25% of the total resources, and to the territorial rebalancing, giving 40% of the allocation (equal to 40 million euros) to the regions of the Mezzogiorno. The terms and arrangements for the telematic transmission of the requests will be defined by a subsequent measure of the Directorate-General for incentives to the enterprises of the Ministry.
