ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The Board of Directors of FiberCop, met today under the chairmanship of Massimo Sarmi, appointed Marco Nespolo CEO, with effect from 12 October 2026.
Massimo Sarmi, who has served as Chairman of FiberCop since November 2020 and has also played the role of CEO since January 2025, will continue in his role as President, ensuring continuity in governance while the company continues the development of the national fiber optic network.
In today’s session the Cda recognized that “under the guidance of Massimo Sarmi the separation of FiberCop has been successfully realized, the PNRR has been fully completed and a historical copper infrastructure is turning into a modern open-access network”, reads in a note.
