ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “We have to tell us clearly that without private owners there is no extension of the housing offer. In Italy the large majority of houses for rent belongs to the small owners. The decisive point is to create confidence because houses are placed on the market when there are reasonable rules, adequate taxation and legal protection.” The President of Conf Buildings, Giorgio Spaziani Testa, said this at the National Assembly of Conf Buildings. “We strongly support the bill on real estate release, we support it not because we want more evictions but to have more rents. If trust in justice is lacking, the houses come out of the market, it is not what we want but what happens,” he adds.
“Conf building looks with interest to the House Plan of the government. We find it right to recover thousands of unused public housing, it was no longer acceptable that more than 60 thousand popular houses were not available,” he added.
“We are not opposed to the energy redevelopment of the building heritage, it would be absurd. But sustainability is built with incentives and not with impositions, so we have countered the European directive on green houses to which the government has opposed. The energy efficiency cannot be transformed into a balance compression of Italian families, it serves graduality, balance, realism and respect for the savings of Italians”, concluded Spaziani Testa.
