ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “We believe in the role of the Cpi, and we support it with conviction. That is why I signed the joint declaration with other G7 and European ministers, such as Dutch and Danish colleagues, and strongly oppose the sanctions announced by the United States against the Court.” The Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said this, interviewed by Il Messaggero. “We are part of the Rome Statute, the international treaty that in July 1998 established the Cpi, we will continue to support its work and defend the international system, based on rules and responsibilities,” he added.
