On 5 March the Parliament approved the resolutions authorizing ‘the deployment and deployment of air defence to protect Italian citizens and to support partner countries and allies in the Gulf area and to safeguard strategic infrastructures in the area to protect national primary structures’: the authorisation was then confirmed by the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee on 14 July and the Chamber on 28 July; furthermore, the Chief Executive Officer of Defense was made available and audited.
