Avio, in the first half net revenues up 17.5%

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Avio closed the first half with an order book of 2,0248 million (-5.4% compared to 31 December 2025). The orders acquired in the semester amounted to approximately 160 million, more than two thirds of which relate to production and development contracts in the defense and, for the remainder, mainly related to development contracts on the Vega C launcher. Net revenues, amounting to 276 million, recorded for the fourth consecutive year a double-digit growth on a semiannual basis (+17.5% compared to the first half of 2025), confirming also in the first six months of 2026 a solid capacity for execution of orders. The increase in revenues in the semester is mainly due to the increase in the production activities of Vega C, of production of engines for Ariane 6, as well as those related to the propulsion for defense. The reported Ebitda, equal to 11.9 million (+1.9 million compared to 30 June 2025) and up 19.1% compared to the first half of 2025, reflects, in substance, the improvement of revenues of the period, confirming for the fourth consecutive year a double-digit growth in the first half.

The Ebit reported, of 1,2 million, reflects the same dynamics of improvement of Ebitda and is also growing compared to 30 June 2025, although this increase is partially offset by the growth of the amortisations due mainly to the increase in cadence of Vega C. The net financial position amounted to 535.7 million, a decrease of 56 million compared to 31 December 2025 due to the investments of the period and the partial transfer to the suppliers of advances in the last quarter of 2025. The guidance for the year 2026 announced in March 2026 is confirmed. “Even in the first half of the year the successes of the Vega C and Ariane 6 programs confirm Avio’s centrality in the European space scenario, also in view of the new role of Launch Service Operator assumed from the launch of Vega C successfully concluded in May,” comments Giulio Ranzo, managing director of Avio. “Parimenti, the partnership signed with Advent is a significant step for Avio, strengthening our financial profile and allowing us to accelerate our expansion in the United States with the support of a global partner with whom we share a solid strategic vision and a long-term ambition,” concludes Ranzo.
