MILANO (ITALPRESS) – The General Council of FederlegnoArredo, meeting today in Milan, has designated Elia Vismara, current President of Assobagno of FederlegnoArredo, as candidate for the presidency of the Federation for the next four years, collecting the witness of Claudio Feltrin, leading in the last six years.
“The designation represents the outcome of the consultation process of the membership base, carried out by the Designation Commission – in charge of accompanying the process that will lead to the election of the new president – in June and July on the territory – we read in a note -. Therefore, the commission, Nicoletta Azzi, Massimiliano Messina and Alberto Scavolini, for having made available to the Federation and having completed with seriousness and spirit of service such a delicate task”.
The final phase of the elective process is now open: in a subsequent General Council, scheduled by the end of September, the appointed President will present the mandate programme and the Presidency team that will join him in the next four years. It will therefore be the Assembly of FederlegnoArredo, to be convened for October 27 in Milan, to elect the new President.
“I welcome with deep sense of responsibility the trust that the associates wanted to give me and I wish to express my sincere thanks to all of them” comments Vismara. “While the October Assembly confirmed me as the head of the Federation, I would assume this task with a spirit of service and with the commitment to make available to the entire associative system the experiences and skills gained over the years within FederlegnoArredo. I am at work for the definition of the team together with which to translate into concrete actions the programmatic lines and priorities that I intend to propose for the future of the Federation, with the aim of enhancing all the expressions of a long and articulated chain”.
Elia Vismara, born in 1971, a management engineer of Mariano Comense (CO), has been a member of the Vismaravetro Board of Directors since 1999 and has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2025. Entrepreneur belonging to one of the historical families of the Italian furniture industry, has developed his professional activity within the field of furniture and design, maturing a consolidated associative experience in the FederlegnoArredo system: from 2015 to 2017 he was a member of the Federation Junta; from 2017 to today he is part of the Assobagno Presidency Council and in 2020 he was elected President of Assobagno, the association of Federledo In 2021 he also entered the Cda of Federlegno Arredo Eventi spa, while from April 2025 he was a member of the Italian Standards Board (UNI) of which the Federation is a representative member.
