The future of innovation and scientific well-being starts from the Marches. In the suggestive frame of Smerillo, Senses Analytics has officially debuted, an innovative laboratory of psychophysiology and cutting-edge neuroscience. Born from the vision and expertise of the ERNESI 1978 team, the project is configured as a technological ecosystem designed to transfer high-level scientific research directly into the economic and social fabric, offering a new and strategic key to development for internal areas.
The initiative demonstrates concretely how small Italian villages can become real engines of global innovation and protagonists of the technological transition. Senses Analytics will operate as a hub open to transdisciplinary synergies, boasting already important active collaborations, such as the one with the Macerata Sferisterio, under a model of futuristic and sustainable development.
The Community Preview of the event has collected a huge support from the political and institutional world, demonstrating the territorial value of the project. After the opening greetings of the Mayor of Smerillo, Tonino Severini, spoke: Lucia Albano, State Secretary to the Ministry of Economy and Finance; Guido Castelli, Extraordinary Commissioner for Sisma Repair and Reconstruction; Paolo Zanotto, Consul d’Italia in Detroit, intervened in closing with an international connection.
The representatives of the institutions expressed a strong appreciation for the birth of a reality capable of attracting international competences and deeply value the Marche region.
The heart of the day was dedicated to the technical presentation of the workshop, curated by two profiles of the highest scientific level: Eleonora Ficiarà (Senses Analytics Lead, PhD in Complex Systems for Life Sciences) and Marco Rotonda (Project Originator & Collaborator, PhD in Cognitive Psychology and Psychophysiology).
During their intervention the high scientific value of the centre has been highlighted, which has already activated an important research contract with the University of Camerino.
The event has seen a lively and cosmopolitan participation, joining local communities, from small municipalities such as Montegallo to larger centers such as San Benedetto del Tronto, to prominent global personalities such as Steve González, Creative Director & Visual Artist based in New York.
The journey of this new excellence has just begun: the next unmissable stage is set for the end of the summer with the official Grand Opening.
