ROMA (ITALPRESS) – About 6.2 million Italians, 10% of the total, will be called to the polls today and Monday for the administrative elections.
The communes to the vote are 743, of which 118 over 15,000 inhabitants. There are 18 provincial leaders called to vote: Agrigento, Andria, Arezzo, Avellino, Chieti, Crotone, Enna, Fermo, Lecco, Macerata, Mantova, Messina, Pistoia, Prato, Reggio Calabria, Salerno, Trani and Venice.
Today the polls will be open from 7 to 23, Monday 25 from 7 to 15. The displacement of the cards will begin immediately after. In the municipalities above 15,000 inhabitants, if no candidate gets the absolute majority, he will go to the ballot Sunday 7 and Monday 8 June. In Sicily and Friuli Venezia Giulia the threshold for the first round is 40%+1. (ITALPRESS).
