Stability pact, Giorgetti “Difficult to support clause that excludes defence expenses”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “It is very difficult to politically support a clause that provides for the possibility of not considering for the purposes of the stability pact the expenses for defense and excludes for interventions in favor of families and enterprises regarding energy: there is a logical inconsistency that we will continue to reiterate.” It is underlined by the Minister of Economy Giancarlo Giorgetti in his speech at the Chamber. “In the face of even severely adverse scenarios that we have highlighted in the document presented, I hope that the parliament will give mandate to the government to bring our position to the competent offices and give answers to the problems of our economy and the Italian people,” continues Giorgetti.
