Romano “Estonia is a model for the digitization of public administration”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “The growth of our country and the ability to attract investments passes from the level of services offered by public administration and the simplification of procedures. Estonia, in this sense, is a unique model in the world. The Commission for Simplification has intensified its discussion and initiated a fruitful dialogue.” Thus Saverio Romano, President of the Parliamentary Commission for Simplification, commenting on the meeting with the President of the Estonian Monocameral Parliament, Lauri Hussar, Ambassador of Estonia Lauri Bambus and a delegation of Estonian parliamentarians.

The meeting represents the natural continuation of the collaborative process launched in June last year, when the Commission, as part of the cognitive survey on the digitization of public administration, carried out an institutional mission in Estonia, among the most advanced European countries on the digital transformation front.

“In the course of the meeting, Romano explains, the delegations shared experiences and good practices on the issues of digitization and administrative simplification, highlighting the progress made by both countries and confirming the desire to further strengthen institutional cooperation.”.
