ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “We are working generously to a popular constituent together with the forces that share with us the belonging to the family of the European People’s Party and the same vision of society. It is a path that comes from afar, because in the last regional and administrative we have opened our lists to so many civic movements rooted in the territories”. In an interview with Italpress the political coordinator of Noi Moderati, Saverio Romano.
The polls do not yet detect this weaving work, “not the commitment on our political battles – says Romano –. I am thinking of the conciliation between work and family, the strengthening of parental leave and deductions for children, the increase in the salaries of young people, the protection of family caregivers and the support for women. Soon a figure will emerge that will be decisive for the victory of the center-right”.
To a question about the recent South agreement Call North of Cateno De Luca with Brothers of Italy, the former minister responds by calling it “a good thing. We are not worried by the South entrance calls North in the coalition as someone has argued – he adds. In fact, it can help win. What we want to understand is whether it is really a resource or an element of disorder for allied forces. Some things don’t convince us. It recruits mainly second rows already in the centre and does not declare its position in Sicily, the only region where it can make a real electoral contribution.”.
And on the position of Noi Moderati in the chesss of the centerright, Romano warns: “We will not do as Renzo’s cappones, to catch each other while others decide. But we will not remain in coalition for inertia, nor at least to stand in paradise in spite of the Saints. In the coming days we will ask the coalition to clarify how it should be composed and what criteria”.
