Federico Bricolo confirmed in the board of UFI for the three-year period 2026–2029

VERONA (ITALPRESS) – Federico Bricolo, president of Veronafiere, was re-elected in the board of directors of UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. The new three-year term will start after the general meeting of 2 November, at the 93° World Congress of the Association, in Bahrain.

The confirmation renews the assignment assumed by Bricolo in 2023 and consolidates the presence of Veronafiere in the representative bodies of the international trade fair system. Founded in 1925, UFI today brings together 900 companies in 90 nations, including event organizers, trade fair managers, trade associations and industry partners, which directly represent over 50 thousand employees.

The board of directors of UFI, composed of a maximum of 61 members and elected every three years, implements the decisions of the general assembly, defines the policies of the association and elaborates proposals on the issues concerning international fairs, to be submitted to the vote of the associates.

“I thank the general assembly of UFI and its president, Panittha Buri, for renewing my trust. This confirmation allows us to continue the work started in 2023, bringing in international comparison the experience of Veronafiere as a direct organizer of events and instrument of development for the enterprises from 1898 – says Federico Bricolo, president of Veronafiere -. In a scenario in which markets and trade relations change, fairs have a precise task: to foster the meeting between demand and supply and accompany companies, especially small and medium sized ones, in access to new business opportunities. The presence in the board of UFI allows you to share skills and contribute to common choices to strengthen this function. A commitment consistent with the internationalization of our brands and with the activity of buyer attraction abroad towards the events of Verona”.
