Policlinico Universitario Campus Bio-Medico, new Direction Communication and Public Affairs

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – An increasingly integrated management of communication, fundraising and relations with institutions and stakeholders on the territory. This is the principle behind the reorganization initiated by the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Campus Bio-Medico, chaired by Carlo Tosti, with Paolo Sormani in the role of CEO and General Manager. The current Communications and Fundraising Directorate therefore expands its scope of competence by taking the name of Communication and Public Affairs Directorate.

The internal and external communication and the coordination of events and fundraising – functions already presided over by the structure – are now added institutional relations. The aim of the new direction is to help consolidate even more the public and strategic positioning of the Bio-Medic Polyclinic Campus through the management of external relations and the constant dialogue with the media, institutions, the territory and the community. Through an integrated and coherent communication, the new direction aims to promote a transparent dialogue with all stakeholders guided by the values of patient centrality and service to the person.

The new direction will be led by Andrea Picardi, until now Director Communication and Fundraising of the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Campus Bio-Medico, where he arrived in July 2024. Professional journalist class 1984 – graduated in jurisprudence at the University of Rome Tor Vergata and with a master in corporate communication and institutional relations at Luiss Guido Carli – Picardi previously held the role of Advocacy, Institutional Events & Communication Management senior manager of Lottomatica and general secretary of Fondazione Lottomatica. He was also the director of the communication and general secretary of the Institute for Competitiveness (I-Com) and editor and chronicler at the news of T9, Tg5 and Formiche.net.

In addition, in the context of this reorganization, Luca Di Cesare, as the new head of institutional relations, joined this new direction. Born in 1995 and with a law degree at the University Roma Tre and a master in institutional relations at the Luiss Business School, Di Cesare arrives at the Polyclinic Campus Bio-Medico by Leonardo, where he held the role of Expert Institutional Affairs.
