ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “The achievement of the 156 objectives of the tenth and last race of the Plan is a great result for Italy but also a victory of the Meloni Government”. Thus the Minister for European Affairs, the Pnrr and cohesion policies, Tommaso Foti, at the end of the Pnrr Directing Cabin which met today for the examination of the eighth report on the state of implementation of the Pnrr and for the verification of the achievement of the 156 objectives connected with the request for payment of the tenth rata, for a total value of 28.4 billion.
“With the tenth and final rata of the Pnrr, the targets set by the European Commission have been fulfilled, numerous strategic objectives that have affected the main areas of the economic and social life of the Nation. With the achievement of all the 576 objectives of the Plan, which will continue to produce positive effects in the coming years, we carry out a path that goes beyond both the positive increase of expenditure – that net of the financial instruments has exceeded quota 133 billion – and the realization of the individual works, giving Italy structural interventions in health, infrastructure, ecological transition, education, digitization, culture, employment and social inclusion, for a greater competitiveness, modernization and cohesion of the Nation”.
“By considering the usual catastrophic forecasts, Italy has been able to transform the Pnrr into an extraordinary opportunity of growth and modernization, making the ability to implement, coordination between institutions and collaboration with the territories and the productive system a model recognised internationally. The Plan, several times aligned by the Meloni Government to the needs of families and enterprises, was not a mere container of public works, but a structural and profound intervention to make Italy more credible in Europe and in the world”, concluded Foti.
