CAGLIARI (ITALPRESS) – “It is not from today that our country, and even more the Islands, are losing the price of Energy. We have asked for the stability pact and to make more European public debt, I believe that no one can leave behind. In Italy we need to put on the ground as much as possible renewables, because also Italy must do the homework and among the regions in which it is necessary to put them on the ground we have Sardinia, Sicily and Calabria, so many regions that can help lower the cost of energy”. Thus the president of Confindustria, Emanuele Orsini, today in Cagliari for a conference on Europe together with the former President of the Council Enrico Letta and the Sardinian governor Alessandra Todde.
“Today we cannot think of doing it alone – he added – very well the new technologies and the nuclear, because that is the way but it will take 10 years. Even thermo-valorizers and thermoelectrics will have an impact, because we can’t turn off the gas from morning to night. In the coming years in Europe there will be a greater energy consumption and today we are importing 16% from France, if France breaks the plug becomes a big problem”.
