ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Mimit and Confindustria together to consolidate the collaboration between institutions and productive system in the management of corporate and territorial crises and to strengthen the network of Case del Made in Italy on the territories. These are the objectives of the two agreement protocols signed by the Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, and by the President of Confindustria, Emanuele Orsini, at Palazzo Piacentini.
“These two protocols strengthen the already close collaboration between Mimit and Confindustria, in the context of a shared and concrete strategy to support businesses,” said Urso. “On the one hand, we strengthen the ability to deal with corporate crises, to safeguard factories and protect workers, also thanks to the Confindustria network, which can help identify new industrial actors. On the other hand, we strengthen the role of Case del Made in Italy as head of the Ministry on the territories, increasingly close to the needs of companies, especially small and medium and artisans,” he added.
“Industrial policy works when it really comes to businesses and territories. With the theme of these protocols we want to strengthen the coordination between institutions and the productive system and intervene more effectively both in crisis situations and in the accompaniment of investments. We must preserve skills, productive capacity and employment, while at the same time promoting new settlements and reindustrialization processes,” said Orsini. “The Confindustria system can make a decisive contribution in listening to the needs of enterprises and in connection with the Mimit. Now it is necessary to transform these ideas into concrete projects, capable of supporting growth and strengthening the competitiveness of the Italian industrial system,” he stressed.
In detail, the first protocol is dedicated to the processes of reindustrialization and the management of corporate and territorial crises, with the aim of extending the effectiveness of the joint action not only to individual and specific disputes, but also to the broadest situations related to the areas of complex industrial difficulty favouring the connection with the enterprises interested in investing, detecting or reconverting productive activities. The agreement also aims to preserve skills and levels of employment, supporting new settlements, diversification projects, partnerships, acquisitions and reshoring operations. The agreement also provides for the establishment of a permanent technical table between Mimit and Confindustria to monitor activities and identify potential industrial solutions.
On the other hand, the second protocol aims to strengthen the link between the network of the Case del Made in Italy of Mimit and the territorial and sectoral system of Confindustria, bringing national industrial policies closer to the needs of enterprises and the local economic and productive fabric. The collaboration also includes initiatives for information, guidance and support to enterprises through territorial meetings, events, matchmaking and roadshow activities, as well as reconnaissance of the skills required by the business world, also in agreement with the Foundation Enterprises and Skills for Made in Italy.
Both Protocols have three-year duration “and aim to build a model of capillary collaboration, able to value the specificities of the territories, accompany industrial transformations, support the growth of enterprises and strengthen the competitiveness of the national production system, in line with the White Paper for a new industrial policy of the Mimit ‘Made in Italy 2030′”, explains Mimit in a note.
