Giorgetti “The GDP could approach 1%, Italy proved resilient”

CERNOBBIO (ITALPRESS) – “The Italian economy has proved relatively resilient in the sense that we have made very prudent evaluations regarding growth, taking into account both the impact of the trade war of duties and the impact of the crisis of the Middle East. Today, for now, we have acquired 0.8%. If things go as indicators, we could also approach 1%.” This was said by the Minister of Economy and Finance, Giancarlo Giorgetti, intervening at the Teha Forum in Cernobbio.

“On wages” to intervene “cannot only be the government. There must also be those who pay their wages. The government is willing to do its part in terms of tax incentives or if we want contributions, but there must be entrepreneurs who must see this as one of the first forms of investment in absolute order to start a positive cycle.”.

“We will not have done the phenomena, but the boat remained floating. And I can assure you that Italy is much more respected abroad than at home”, he added.
