Fumarola “ Important results for negotiating pension funds”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “The participation of people, workers, families, production processes and development is the way to deal with the changes in place in the country. The negotiating pension funds are excellent examples of the important results that can be achieved with a participatory governance“. This is what the General Secretariat of the Cisl Daniela Fumarola today underlined in his intervention in Rome at the Annual Meeting 2026 of Assofondi Pensione, the association of the pension funds negotiated.

“Complementary pension shows data in constant improvement but efforts must be concentrated to include young people and women more. Without social inclusion, there can be no real intergenerational equity. Preserving trust is fundamental to give stability to the system. For this reason, we believe that the choice to extend the portability of the contractual contribution of the employer towards instruments that do not arise from collective bargaining,” Fumarola added.

“This is why CISL shared the Common Notice on Complementary Welfare with CGIL, UIL and the main employers. The CISL asks that the standard on portability is cancelled and that sanctions are reduced by pension fund advisers. The value of the Common Notice covers both the merit and the supplementary pension method. The participation and co-responsible approach of the social partners should become the reference for each area of cohesion and development policy. From here it can take strength a social pact useful to share and grow the country, able to unite work, enterprise, institutions and territories around shared objectives”, concluded the leader Cisl.
