For Stellantis 1.6 million vehicles delivered in the second quarter 2026, +10% on the previous year

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Stellantis has published the estimates of consolidated deliveries for the second quarter of 2026: for the three months closed to 30 June they were estimated to be 1.6 million units, with an increase of 10% compared to the previous year. Growth, we read in a note, “was mainly driven by North America and enlarged Europe, partially offset by lower volumes in the Middle East and Africa, largely due to the conflict in the region, and in South America, due to the weakness of the Argentine market.”.

In North America, deliveries of the second quarter increased by about 122 thousand units or 38% compared to the previous year. In enlarged Europe, deliveries of the second quarter increased by about 39 thousand units or 5% on an annual basis, supported by the largest volumes of the market. The growth came both from Stellantis and from Leapmotor branded vehicles, with BEV deliveries that made the most significant contribution. For Stellantis brands, delivery growth was mainly driven by recent product launches. The strong demand for models based on the Smart Car platform, including Citroën C3 and C3 Aircross, Opel/Vauxhall Frontera and Fiat Grande Panda, has contributed approximately 41 thousand additional units, a 51% increase compared to the previous year. In segment C, the new Jeep Compass also provided a positive contribution, with about 8 thousand additional units.

Such increments were partially offset by a reduction of approximately 28 thousand units in the deliveries of the B-SUV models of the previous generation, including Jeep Avenger, Fiat 600, Opel Mokka and Peugeot 2008. Leapmotor vehicle deliveries increased by about 25 thousand units, reaching 33 thousand units, driven by the strong demand for T03 and B10 models. In the Middle East and Africa, deliveries fell by about 4,000 units, or 3% compared to the previous year, reflecting the impact of regional conflict. In the region there has been an increase of about 8 thousand units in Algeria, supported by the continuous acceleration of the Fiat Doblò and, although more contained, in Morocco, driven by the greater volumes of the market. These increases were more than offset by Turkey, down by about 8 thousand units, for less favourable market conditions, and by the Gulf Cooperation Council countries (GCC), where deliveries fell by about 50%. In South America, deliveries decreased by about 7 thousand units, or 3% compared to the previous year. The growth recorded in Brazil, equal to about 21 thousand units and supported by favorable market conditions, was more than offset by the decline of deliveries in the other markets of the region, mainly in Argentina, where about 25 thousand units fell. Deliveries in Asia Pacific remained in line with the previous year, attesting to 16 thousand units.
