MILAN (ITALPRESS) – The assembly of the members of Assogesso elected Luca Sironi new president of the Association, entrusting him with the leadership of the organization for the next two years 2026-2028. Sironi, an aeronautical engineer with MBA, is currently General Manager of Knauf Italia, a position taken in March 2026 after the experience as Chief Marketing Officer for the Western Europe & Israel (WEI) region of the Knauf Group.
Sironi happens to Gaetano Terrasini, to whom the Assembly has made a heartfelt thanks for the commitment and work done. During the meeting, the main themes relating to the chalk sector and dry construction systems were discussed, with particular attention to the theme of the End of Waste of plaster, considered a fundamental step in favoring the circular economy in the construction sector.
“I welcome the presidency of Assogesso with great honor. Together with the associated companies, we will work to strengthen the representation of the sector and to promote a vision of development based on innovation, sustainability and circularity, enhancing the contribution of the entire chain of chalk in the transformation of the construction industry,” said Sironi.
