MILAN (ITALPRESS) – Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. (“ISP”) has received from the European Central Bank prior authorisation for the acquisition of direct control participation in MPS and the acquisition of indirect control investments in Wise Dialog Bank S.p.A., Mediobanca – Bank of Financial Credit S.p.A., Mediobanca Premier S.p.A. and Compass Banca S.p.A., as well as the acquisition of a qualified indirect participation in Banca Progetto S.p.A., pursuant to Articles 19 and 22 of Legislative Decree no. 1 September 1993, n. 385 (“TUB”).
The European Central Bank has, at the same time, issued the authorization to acquire a participation in MPS and in its participations whose value exceeds altogether 10% of the consolidated own funds of the Bancario Intesa Sanpaolo Group pursuant to art. 53 and 67 of the TUB and its implementation discipline.
Also today, ISP has received from the Bank of Italy prior authorisation to the acquisition of indirect investments of control in Monte Paschi Fiduciaria S.p.A., Spafid S.p.A., MBPS Leasing S.p.A., MBCredit Solutions S.p.A., MBFacta S.p.A. and Mediobanca SGR S.p.A. and the purchase of indirect investments qualified in Fidi Toscana S.p.A. and in the savings management companies of the General Group, all in accordance with the applicable discipline.
