ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “The Ministers of the Interior of Italy and Spain Matteo Piantedosi and Fernando Grande-Marlaska, after a cordial telephone interview, scheduled after the meeting on the edge of the European Council between the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Pedro Sánchez, agreed that the Schengen suspensions in force in the two countries will not be further extended.” It makes known a Viminale statement.
The decision, “measured after careful analysis of the situation, will be accompanied by the strengthening of the information exchange to ensure full security of the common Schengen area”.
