Piadi by La Piadineria opened its second venue in New York, Bryant Park on 23 September, just seven months after the opening of the brand’s first American restaurant in the Flatiron District. But it is on October 1st the date to be marked: that day the local, at 1040 Sixth Avenue, will host the Grand Opening party, with a series of offers and activations designed to introduce more New Yorkers to the brand and its piadines.
The program of the day begins soon: starting from 11:30, the first 100 customers who will enroll in the loyalty program PIADI Rewards will be able to buy a one dollar piadina, choosing between four recipes representing the menu, the Prosciutto Legend ’94, with Prosciutto di Parma, stracchino, rucola and extra virgin olive oil, the Chick Me Out, based on chicken, the Pesto Capattsa sauce, with tomato You can sign up for PIADI Rewards by setting a QR code directly in line.
Exhaust the first 100 promotional lanes, the festival continues with the activation Spin the Wheel, outside the restaurant, until 15:30. The members of PIADI Rewards will be able to spin the wheel to win prizes such as one or five dollars, discounts of 20% and 50%, buy-one-get-one offers, desserts and complimentary soft drinks, brand merchandise, a brunch for two people, and a jackpot that puts a whole month of free peas, as well as other prizes and chances to turn the wheel again.
The new room has a capacity of about 70 places and is open every day from 9 to 21. With this opening, Piadi also reaches a milestone in its American route: from now on he produces the dough locally in New York, in a workshop dedicated to the lower floor of the first restaurant in the Flatiron District, following the original recipe developed in Italy in 1994.
