ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “The risk is to leave our children an Islamized Italy”. This was said by the deputypremier, minister and leader of the League Matteo Salvini, speaking to the House at the presentation of the proposals of the party to counter Islamic integralism. “Being silent about islamophobia is around the corner,” he added, stressing the need to address the theme of integralism and integration without sacrificing the defense of the rules and values of the Italian order. Salvini then turned an attack on the left, calling it “complice or useful idiot looking for new voters”. The Vice-Premier also thanked the Minister of Education and Merit Giuseppe Valditara, “who has long worked on this”, with reference to the proposals on school and integration.
“I ask Quaestors and prefect the census of Islamic realities.” Salvini then addressed the issue of citizenship, addressing mayors: “Do not give citizenship to those who do not speak a word of Italian”. The leader of the League also spoke of the risk “to leave our children an Islamized Italy”.
