Government, Locatelli “Decisive stability to affect families and businesses”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Italy’s economic stability and credibility on the international level are among the main results that the government can claim after reaching the goal of the greatest longevity in the history of the Republic. At Italpress, Alessandra Locatelli’s disability ministra. “When this government was born, they said that we would fight and fall after a little while”, or “that it would be a disaster for the Italian economy and that we would have made some figures” at international level. “Instead, after four years, we are here with an image, seriousness and credibility to other countries. We are not interested in the extra day or the less, we are interested in that thanks to the stability of this government we have been able to carry out various measures and different measures”, which have changed the lives of the Italians concretely, such as the overcoming of the income of citizenship and the strengthening of the Assign of inclusion, together with policies to promote work, housing and infrastructure. “We’ve invested on people’s working skills,” says Locatelli, stressing the fall in unemployment and the growth of the number of employees. “This means that this government’s policy on people’s lives has been incisive,” even in a period marked by “a difficult economic and social situation.” If there is a result on which “I would like to be pushed” is the law on family caregiver, which “represents a fundamental tool to build support policies for those who take care of their loved ones daily” and which “would be rightly accompanied also by institutions. We have approved it immediately in the Council of Ministers, now it is in the final stages in the Commission to the Chamber and I would like the full approval to be reached as soon as possible.” In the face of disability policies, the ministra also looks at the start of the call “Vita and Opportunities”, for which 380 million euros were allocated. The goal, he explains, is “to launch a dynamic in third-sector entities that can really change the opportunities for work, training and life of people with disabilities”. Among the objectives on which to continue working, Locatelli also cites the electoral law, which now considers close to the goal, and the chapter of security. “We have worked a lot – he emphasizes, remembering the interventions on illegal immigration and the situations of discomfort and youth crime – but we still have so much to do, and we will do it.” Less than a year after the end of the legislature, the priorities will also be addressed to the autonomy of the territories and to leave an inheritance able to “support the most fragile bands, but also the intermediate ones of the population who risk slipping into poverty”. Locatelli also recalls the need to “continue to support enterprises, commerce, self-employed workers and Iva games”, in a phase still “marked by the cost of life and raw materials”. In view of the next budgetary law, Locatelli points out among the priorities the support for the economy and work, but also more resources for the educational support of students with disabilities and the security on which he hopes that the maneuver “will make available additional resources”.
