ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Defence Minister Guido Crosetto approved the 2025 financial statements of the Defense Industries Agency (AID). The data, explains a note, record first-class economic-industrial performance, marking the highest values achieved by the Agency in the last decade. The result consolidates the relaunch route started in 2024 under the guidance of General Manager Fiammetta Salmoni, confirming the Agency as a strategic asset for the safety and technological autonomy of the country.
In the course of 2025, the value of AID production reached 124 million euros. Net profit amounted to 12,939 million euros, more than doubled compared to 5,164 million in the previous year and net recovery compared to the red of 9,655 million registered in 2023.
To push the growth have been the strengthening of the productive lines, the expansion of both commercial and institutional orders and the implementation of incisive policies of structural efficiency: EBITDA (GDP): EUR 21,876 million (against 11.764 million in 2024); EBIT (Operative Result): EUR 12.532 million (compared with EUR 7.810 million in 2024); Net assets: EUR 48.423 million; Cash Flow: 439,093 thousand euros. The positive results derive from the choral contribution of the various Production Units of the Agency. The sectors that showed the best performances include: ammunition and pharmaceuticals; shipbuilding; new technological projects dedicated to UAVs ( drones) and digitization.
In parallel to the management results, the relevant Defence Organs approved the infrastructure investment plan for the three-year period 2025-2027. The plan, concluded the note, provides an allocation of 95.5 million euros for the increase of industrial capacities, environmental adjustment, security and modernization of infrastructure. The continuity of this positive trend is also reflected in the preliminary data of the first half of 2026, confirming the guidelines of the Industrial Plan of the Agency.
