RIMINI (ITALPRESS) – “Youth, work and demographic development are crucial issues to generate trust and transform it into concrete projects of people, families, businesses. In order to fuel this trust, all institutions, enterprises, private individuals, must play our part in the widespread and inclusive growth of the country, which cannot ignore access to training and employment for young generations.” Stefano Barrese, Head of the Banca dei Territori Division of Intesa Sanpaolo, said this in the Rimini Meeting, on the occasion of the meeting on the theme “Youth, Work and Demography”.
“This is what as Intesa Sanpaolo we put at the heart of our action in the territories, as an institution at the service of the company and the economic system of the country – he added. The priority commitment and responsibility of our Group is to be an engine for the development of all the territories where we operate, a point of reference for credit and support to enterprises, families, local communities, with a particular focus on growth that is widespread and inclusive for all, firstly, regarding the theme of the day, for the new generations. Since 2021 we have hired 5,250 people, mostly young people, and we plan to carry out the largest recruitment programme in the country.”.
“As Banca dei Territori Intesa Sanpaolo from 2021 to 2026 we have provided 200 billion euros of loans to companies and families, 21 of which in the first six months of this year. To support the new employment, youth and women in particular, we have made available to our customers the S-Loan Job Solution financing. A tool that recognizes benefits and discounts on loans to encourage new recruitment through investments in technological innovation: with this solution we paid 700 million euros this year, which have determined approximately 2,000 people assumed by the beneficiary companies – Barrese emphasized -. The Italian PMIs have well present their development path regardless of the uncertainties of the context, on our part we are engaged in supporting the strategies while accompanying the increase in employment. To accompany our young people to the realization of their ambitions and talents to date we have provided more than a billion euros to 54,000 young students who have benefited from our loan Per Merito, which does not require guarantees if not the commitment in the course of studies, to undertake university and post-diploma courses. Almost one out of two of them tells us that without this possibility he would give up his own path of studies. Among the initiatives in this context, the “Youth and Work” programme is of particular importance to the social fabric, which offers free training courses for young people between 18 and 29 years and has formed so far about 5,600 children, accompanying them to the world of work over 80%”.
