“The opening of this new desk with corner TV – says the director and founder of Italpress, Gaspare Borsellino – is an additional part of the growth and internationalization project that our agency has been carrying out for some years. Being present in the heart of London, a few steps from Piccadilly Circus, means offering a point of reference to the numerous Italian community, but also to companies, institutions and economic operators working between Italy and the United Kingdom. The new television studio, overlooking Regent Street, will also allow us to strengthen the production of interviews, insights and TV formats made directly from London.”
Satisfaction was also expressed by the president of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in London, Roberto Costa: “This partnership is an important opportunity to value and tell the work of the Chamber of Commerce and the entire Italian System in the UK. Since I live in London I have always felt a strong cohesion between institutions, enterprises and the Italian community. It is a heritage that deserves to be told and shared also in Italy”.
To bring the greeting of the Government was the Undersecretary of Culture, Giampiero Cannella: “London is one of the world capitals of economy, culture and information. The inauguration of a new headquarters in Italpress, one of the Italian excellences in the information landscape, represents an important signal of the ability of our country to export quality, professionalism and the value of Made in Italy. In the United Kingdom there are over 600 thousand Italians, of which about 370 thousand in London alone: the presence of Italpress will be a valuable tool to give voice to their activity and strengthen the bond with Italy”.
With the opening of the London office, which follows that recently opened in New York, Italpress further consolidates its international network and strengthens its mission to tell Italy in the world through information increasingly close to the territories, institutions and enterprises.
