TORINO (ITALPRESS) For the first time since the acquisition of Cattolica Assicurazioni by Generali, the agents of the two companies participated together with a single Convention. The event, entitled “Here. Now. Together for our future,” took place at the Inalpi Arena in Turin and hosted over 10 thousand people among agents, collaborators and staff of agency and marked the new positioning of the General Insurance Partner, outlining the evolution of the role of consultant based on the ability to read complex scenarios, interpret changes and accompany families and businesses in daily choices. “Today – said Giancarlo Fancel, Country Manager and Ceo Generali Italia – we write a page that will remain in the history of our Company: for the first time the Agents of Generali and Cattolica are together, protagonists of a single great Network. This moment represents a symbol of integration and marks the beginning of a new phase, characterized by an even more united distribution force, capillary and close to customers. Also in 2025, Generali Italia confirmed its reference role in the Italian insurance market. The Overall Awards Collection, in fact, stood at over 18 billion euros, confirming the leadership in the Protection segment with a market share of more than 21 percent, also reached thanks to the LTC (Long Term Care) sector with a share of more than 51 percent. In Danni Non Auto, the Company remains a leader with a share of more than 17 percent and a collection of almost 5 billion euros, of which more than 1.7 in the Health sector (Accidents and Disease). In addition to tracing the roadmap of the coming months, the top management of the Company, intervened from the stage, recognized and illustrated the importance of the consultant, the so-called Generali Insurance Partner that is located to flank the customer in increasingly complex choices and therefore requires increasingly advanced skills. “In this convention – commented Massimo Monacelli, General Manager Generali Italia – we gather our extraordinary network of agents made by thousands of people who every day are at the side of our customers.
