ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The eighty years of life of the Republic overlapping with the eighty years of life of Confcommercio which today brought together, at the auditorium of the Conciliation, entrepreneurs, social partners, institutions for the general assembly. To recall the two anniversaries was, with a message, the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella: “The history of the Republic is closely intertwined with that of the towns and citizens who built it, inhabited, lived, and living it exercised the freedom of association, guaranteed by the Constitution, becoming protagonists of the development and progress of Italy”, the words of President Mattarella. “It is significant that the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the life of the Republic and the 80th anniversary of Confcommercio’s life are superimposed, the role of social formations, which have been driven into the transformations of the country, comes out in all evidence.” The President of Confcommercio, Carlo Sangalli, underlined the fundamental role of the tertiary: “Our enterprises interpret entrepreneurial pluralism and widespread enterprise, innovation and responsibility, creating real communities and work ‘justed. Our market tertiary confirms the engine of the Italian economy: from 1995 to today it has created almost 4 million new jobs and today contributes for 53% to the added value.
