The Cda di Cassa Depositi e Prestiti gives the free way to operations for 1.3 billion euros

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The Cda di Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, on a proposal from the managing director and general manager, Dario Scannapieco, has deliberated operations for a total value of 1.3 billion in favor of international cooperation, Italian companies and territorial entities.

To strengthen the energy system, strengthen climate resilience and support the sustainable transition, the Cda has given way to several projects aimed at promoting investments and programs in Africa and South America, also in collaboration with primary international financial institutions and development banks active in these areas.

In particular, the initiatives are aimed at strengthening local economies, through the support of strategic sectors of the countries involved – including energy and the coffee industry – contributing to the enhancement of the activities of Italian companies operating in the same sectors.

The Council also adopted new operations in the partner countries of International Cooperation for the strengthening of programmes on mitigation and adaptation to climate change promoted by major global institutions.

In line with the objectives defined by the Strategic Plan 2025-2027, the Council has deliberated initiatives to support investments in key infrastructure for the country and support the growth of enterprises, even in synergy with the main local stakeholders.

To confirm the closeness of the CDP Group to the Public Administrations on the territory, it was also given the free way to measures to support the investments of the public bodies and to promote the use of European resources to develop and realize projects that aim to strengthen sustainable investments, for example in the water sector and that of social living
