ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Banca del Fucino, through its Health&Pharma division, has signed a protocol of understanding with Egualia, Accessible Pharmacies Industries, the official representative body of the equivalent generic drugs industry, biosimilars and Value Added Medicines, formed in 1993 and representing approximately 70 pharmaceutical companies for a total of almost 11,000 people employed and over 40 production sites.
The agreement aims to facilitate access to credit and the availability of banking services dedicated to Egualia members, through a range of financial solutions that will be studied ad hoc to support investments, optimize liquidity management and develop advanced payment systems and digital services.
“The agreement – we read in a note also aims to promote a general information comparison on the issues of access to credit of companies associated with Egualia – multinational companies and Italian companies – to allow the Fucino Bank to make available innovative products and solutions. Banca del Fucino is today the only banking institution to have created in 2022 a Health & Pharma Division dedicated to the sector, able to offer a high level of specialization and an integrated vision of the financial needs of the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry.”
“We welcome this agreement – said Riccardo Zagaria, president of Egualia – which is a concrete tool available to our industry at a stage in which access to dedicated financial solutions can support investments and competitiveness of companies in the sector. We are pleased to be able to start a collaboration that focuses on the needs of associated companies.”
“The Fucino Bank – said Marco Alessandrini, Head of Health & Pharma Division – developed, by vocation and history, specific skills in the design of financial tools and services dedicated to healthcare professionals and, in particular, to the pharmaceutical sector, promoting over time forms of collaboration with the main industries of the drug. In this perspective, in July 2022 the Pharma Division was born, with the aim of making available to the sector a distinctive and personalized model, through solutions built on the specific needs of the operators of the sector”.
“We are happy and honored with this agreement – Alessandrini continued – which will allow us to strengthen our support for the realities involved in the equivalent drug, thus helping to foster wider accessibility to products by citizens and, at the same time, to generate benefits and savings for the National Health Service.”.
