Morelli “Infrastructures 5.0 and public-private partnership for the development of the country”

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – “To talk about infrastructure 5.0 means to open a new world made of innovation, new technologies and tools capable of profoundly transforming the construction and construction industry.” It is the message of the undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council with delegation to economic programming Alessandro Morelli, intervened with a video message at the XXVIII edition of Futuro Direction Nord, the exhibition of institutional conferences promoted by the Fondazione Stelline of Milan entitled “Prospects in Biblical” in progress at Assolombarda.

In his speech, Morelli stressed how the future of infrastructure passes through the integration between technological innovation and economic sustainability: “The technologies available today, from BIM to the new digital solutions applied to the building, represent an extraordinary opportunity both from the constructive point of view and from the design.”.

According to the undersecretary, however, the transformation of the sector cannot ignore a new balance between public and private. “The work we are carrying out aims to strengthen the public-private partnership, both through the reform of the code of contracts and in the open confrontation with the European Union. This is a great opportunity to create a balanced and constructive relationship: on the one hand improving public services, on the other encouraging investments and growth of enterprises”.

Morelli explained that the government is engaged in a dialogue with Brussels to define rules that encourage the involvement of individuals in the major infrastructure works: “The initial phases of the projects, the ideas and projects, must be adequately protected to promote greater interest by private investors.”.

Ample space also to the theme of urban regeneration and normative certainty. “The construction and construction can only develop if there are clear rules and certain interpretations. This is why Parliament is moving forward on the path to urban regeneration, while the government continues to invest important resources at home and work with local administrations on urban issues.”.

The undersecretary then addressed the issue of the difficulties that are affecting Milan on the urban and building front: “The problems that involved the municipal administration are now known and serve further steps to clarify the application of norms that for decades have been considered clear and that today appear less defined.”.

Morelli reiterated the government’s commitment to protecting families and businesses: “The goal is to protect those who have invested their savings in the purchase of property or in the development of projects that generate work, investments and housing availability.”.

Finally, the undersecretary confirmed the availability of the executive to collaborate with local administrations to identify shared solutions: “The relationship with the Municipality of Milan is open. We are ready to work together to resolve issues that are causing significant damage to the Milanese economy and the construction industry.”.
