Istat, in the first quarter 2026 GDP growth estimated by 0.2%

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – In the first quarter of 2026 Istat estimates that gross domestic product (Pil) grew by 0.2% compared to the previous quarter and by 0.7% in tendential terms. The first quarter of 2026 had a working day less than the previous quarter and the same number of working days compared to the first quarter of 2025. The economic change is the synthesis of an increase in value added in the service sector and a decrease in agriculture and industry. On the question side, there is a negative contribution of the national component (to the gross of stocks) and a positive contribution of the net foreign component. The variation acquired for 2026 is 0.5%.
