Urso “We work on Transition continuity 5.0 for the next 3 years”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – On Transition 5.0 “the final result exceeded every forecast: 4.8 billion draw for Transition 5.0 and 2.3 billion for Transition 4.0. Over 7 billion total bookings. Now, from here to the first half of December, we will have a precise picture of the new financial requirements and we will assess how to guarantee the benefit to the companies that have the right to them.” Thus, in an interview with Il Messaggero, the Minister for Enterprise and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso. For the future, he notes: “from January 1 the new edition of Transition 5.0 will start: It will be immediately operational with an initial budget of 4 billion, without the need for implementing decrees and the European constraints that in the past had excluded the energetic enterprises. With Giorgetti and Foti in these hours we are working to identify the necessary resources and make the structural measure, ensuring continuity for the next three years”.

With regard to other measures for companies in maneuver, Urso emphasizes that “other 4 billion for the Zes, 300 million for the Zls, the refinancing of the Sabatini law and development contracts, which we hope to increase in the parliamentary path”. On the prospects for the former Ilva and the hypothesis of an Italian rope, the minister says: “An international race is underway, on which, as it is obvious, it is not possible to express itself on the merits. This is a difficult challenge given the context in which we act and the heavy legacy of the past. In any case I remember, as it is known, that a competitive call is taking place, which also allows at this stage the entry of new subjects, as recently made another extra-European operator”.
