ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Unionmeccanica Confapi and Fim Cisl, Fiom Cgil, Uilm Uil today signed the Agreement Hypotheses for the renewal of the CCNL for workers and workers involved in the small and medium metalworking industry, nowfa and the installation of plants, reaffirming its role as the main contract for SMEs.
The renewal, which follows and completes the Ipotesis of Agreement signed on 24 July 2025, with beginning from 4 June 2026 and duration until 31 December 2028, involves over 42 thousand enterprises and more than 450 thousand workers and workers.
The Renewal Hypotheses, reads in a note, “has defined an increase in contractual minimums in line with the expectations of claims to safeguard the purchasing power of workers and workers and thus to ensure to enterprises a balanced impact on costs”.
“The real innovation – said the President of Unionmeccanica Confapi, Luigi Sabadini – consists in disciplinary, therefore promoting and consolidating, a culture in the working environments able to guarantee equal opportunities and inclusion for workers and workers, in line with the evolution of the national and European regulatory framework. Moreover, the Ipotesis of Agreement recognises and values the specificities of small and medium-sized enterprises, taking adequate account of their size and organizational characteristics.”.
For this reason, “subjects were disciplined to the protection of workers and workers who face particular and delicate personal and family situations. In this context, the safeguards of supplementary health, the disease for workers under conditions of disability and the disease of children have been strengthened.”.
Contractual welfare has also been increased. Additional permits are provided for those workers who work in a system that includes over 15 weekly shifts. Finally, in the field of training, particular attention was paid to the support of those workers and workers who were absent for significant periods. “In order to make the rules in the contractual text even more transparent and prevent litigation, the fixed-time contract and the stabilization of indefinite administration were also governed,” the note concludes.
