Unicredit, agreement with MADE for the digital transformation of SMEs

MILAN (ITALPRESS) – UniCredit and MADE Competence Center signed a two-year collaboration agreement with the aim of supporting the digital and sustainable transformation of Italian SMEs, creating an ecosystem of skills and tools to accelerate innovation. The agreement aims to guide and train enterprises on technological innovation and digitalisation, promoting the realization of technological transfer projects in collaboration with MADE. It also aims to raise awareness among stakeholders on the strategic importance of digitalisation and sustainability, promoting coordinated initiatives and actions, and aims to create synergies with the Digital Innovation Hub (DIH), offering an integrated ecosystem of technological expertise, consulting and financial support.

UniCredit will contribute expertise, advisory and financial support through dedicated financial instruments, including facilitated finance and innovative solutions to support investment in technology, while MADE will provide its know-how and innovation infrastructure. In an ever-changing economic environment, promoting the digital and technological transformation of companies means strengthening their ability to face the challenges of the global market.

UniCredit, through its commitment on the territory, wants to be alongside companies investing in innovation, helping to create an ecosystem that promotes collaboration between companies, research centers and industrial partners, and that accelerates the adoption of advanced solutions.

Marco Bortoletti, Regional Manager Lombardia of UniCredit, states: “With this partnership we strengthen our commitment to SMEs, promoting the adoption of innovative and sustainable technologies and accelerating the digital transformation of enterprises. Our goal is to offer communities levers to progress, generating value for all stakeholders and freeing the potential of our customers. A heartfelt thanks to MADE and its President, Prof. Marco Taisch, for the collaboration and sharing of skills that make this path possible.”.

For the first time a financial institution joined the Competence Center partnership in Milan, strengthening MADE’s tools to support companies in the digital transition path. This contribution expands the ability to accompany businesses throughout the process, including the financial dimension, which is now decisive to scale projects. UniCredit enters a qualified technological ecosystem, intercepting enterprises with structured innovation projects, credible and oriented to a medium-long industrial vision.

Marco Taisch, President of MADE, says: “Digital transformation is a continuous path that must be an integral part of the industrial strategy of enterprises. MADE supports companies in the definition of digital roadmap and in the realization of high impact technological innovation projects. The agreement with UniCredit strengthens this approach, alongside technological expertise a structured financial support, indispensable to make investments in concrete and sustainable innovation”.
