ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Unanimous decision in the Senate of the “Books to choose” on protection and assistance to minors and adults of reference in contexts of organized crime. The measure, first signed by the President of the Antimafia Commission, Chiara Colosimo, had already been approved by the House at first reading, so it becomes law.
“The proposal of law ‘Books to choose’, first signed by Chiara Colosimo, of which I was rapporteur, is now law”. In a note the Secretary of the Chamber, Carolina Varchi, the Group of Brothers of Italy in the Justice Commission. “A measure we strongly wanted and supported. Our commitment, now, will continue on the territories, especially with meetings in the most risky areas, to make known to all the opportunity offered by this law. Who is born in a mafia context is not destined to remain there for all life, but is free to choose. Free to choose a new life, a new socio-educational path and, where necessary, also a new identity, away from Maltese contexts”, Varchi concluded.
