FIRENZE (ITALPRESS) – “Priorities should be done only if we are forced by the electoral law to put the name of the premier candidate on the cards. If the law does not change, it is even unimportant for the President of the Republic to imagine a system in which we choose the President of the Council from the gazebos since that is its constitutional prerogative.” The president of the Tuscany Region, Eugenio Giani, told the newspaper the Republic. “I add that filling our summer with this primary debate means losing the opportunity to talk to people of health, schools, work, economics. In short, at least at this stage I am not a fan of the primary,” Giani concluded.
