The foundations of Made in Italy in the USA, The Calta Group Challenge Miami

NEW YORK (UNITED STATES) (ITALPRESS) – In the real estate landscape of Florida, increasingly competitive and international, the weight of business realities grows capable of bringing in the United States a European design culture based on quality, functionality and urban vision. It is in this context that the experience of The Calta Group, a real estate development company based in Miami, is now active in some of the most dynamic areas of South Florida. Founded by Ignazio Caltagirone and Gaetano Caltagirone, sons of the famous Italian manufacturer Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone, the company was born from a precise choice of entrepreneurial autonomy. As explained in a recent meeting with the press in New York by Vice-President Angelo Cinel, the two founders wanted to take an independent path in the United States, separated from the historical family activities, building a own reality, rooted in the American market and guided by an original vision of urban development. The Calta Group is a concrete example of how Made in Italy can assert itself in the United States not only through design or fashion, but also through new housing models.

In the projects developed by the group, the Italian footprint emerges in the choice of materials, architectural solutions and spaces designed to improve the quality of everyday life. Kitchens, bathrooms, finishes and concept of the interior recall European standards and an internationally recognized Italian chain, interpreted as a model of comfort, duration and attention to everyday life. After consolidated experiences in Hollywood and Coral Gables, the group now looks at the heart of Miami with Harmony, a new residential and mixed-use development located close to the Miami Health District, the second largest public health district in the United States. The area is frequented every day by tens of thousands of doctors, nurses, researchers, students and specialized staff, but still offers a limited number of quality housing solutions nearby. Meet Cinel, she emerges as a Native Harmony to answer a real and existing housing question, offering solutions designed for those who work and study in the city. The project combines residences for sale and rental units dedicated to the workforce housing, an intermediate range between luxury and affordable building, with lower price levels than Miami standards, without sacrificing design and construction quality.

According to management, the goal is not only to build new residential units, but to improve the quality of life. Living near the workplace means reducing travel times, recovering personal time and promoting a better balance between private and professional life. In this vision there are also common spaces, areas dedicated to well-being, coworking and integrated retail, conceived as places of aggregation open to the neighborhood. Cinel explains that the impact on costs has been assessed within a long-term planning strategy, with the ability to cushion any increases without compromising the overall balance of the project. In a market dominated by high-end operations, the experience of The Calta Group shows how Italian design culture can also focus on solutions that combine accessibility, quality and identity.
