ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Leonardo’s Board of Directors today approved the Group’s new organizational structure. President Francesco Macrì will have the full responsibility of the Corporate Bodies Affairs Organising Unit while, in tandem with the CEO and General Manager, Lorenzo Mariani, will manage the activities related to the “Security of Group”, “Institutional affairs” and “Sustainability”. The President will also exercise the role within the CDA to oversee the activities of the Internal Audit Organization Unit, while remaining the prerogatives of the other parties involved in the internal control and risk management system and will use, for the exercise of the delegates, also the support of the Organizational Units: People & Organisation, Communication, Compliance, Legal Affairs, placed at the back of the CEO.
The Chief Executive Officer and General Manager, Lorenzo Mariani, who assumes the interim responsibility of Institutional Affairs, will report the General Manager, Gian Piero Cutillo, the People & Organization Units, Technology and Innovation Strategies, Commercial and Business Development, Legal Affairs, Communication, as well as all Business Divisions (Elicopters, Aeronautics, Electronics, Space, Cyber Security, Automation).
The Managing Director, Gian Piero Cutillo, who is responsible for the interim management of the Procurement & Operations Governance Organizational Unit, will report the Finance & Investor Relations, Risk Management, Compliance, M&A and Post Merger Integration, Digital Solution & Infrastructure, as well as service companies Leonardo Global Solutions and Leonardo International.
