ROMA (ITALPRESS) – A meeting was held today between the President of the Council Giorgia Meloni, the Vice-Presidents of the Council Antonio Tajani, Matteo Salvini, the leader of Noi Moderati Maurizio Lupi and the Minister of Economy Giancarlo Giorgetti, dedicated to the situation of fuel prices and support measures. Tomorrow – according to what is learned from sources of Palazzo Chigi – a new Council of Ministers is planned, which should extend for a few days the measures already in force, so as to allow the Government to work on a more targeted intervention. The deadline tomorrow, therefore, will not be the final measure, but it will serve to enable the measure to be developed in the time necessary. The objective is to prepare a more concentrated measure on the income bands that need state support more, thus making intervention more effective and selective.
