ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “In full continuity with the action of recent years, the pillars of our strategy remain four: the diffusion of the culture of prevention, the strengthening of training, the strengthening of vigilance, the valorisation of enterprises that invest in safety”. This was said by the Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Marina Elvira Calderone, during communications to the House, on safety at work. “The 2025 represented a turning point, the interventions started in the previous years and introduced important normative and organizational innovations culminated in the Decree Law 159′′′ added Calderone “to strengthen national health and safety policies on work”.
The Ministry of Labour recalled that “the last year’s action has given concrete implementation to the addresses of the previous report to the Chambers, the commitments assumed have resulted in interventions that have affected all the main areas of prevention, the culture of safety in schools, the strengthening of the supervision of coordination between administrations, the training of workers and enterprises, the valorization of the reward mechanisms for employers who invest stably in prevention”.
“Every injury, every occupational disease, every episode of exploitation is a wound that affects the individual worker and his family, but involves the entire national community. The protection of health and safety in workplaces is one of the main indicators of the level of social development of a nation,” added Calderone “is not only a technical or administrative issue, it concerns the model of development we want to pursue, the relationship between economic growth and dignity of work, the ability of institutions to protect citizens”.
