“In recent years we have worked to ensure that Italy takes up the place it deserves in international conditions where the future of tourism is decided. I have made available to the Agency twenty years of experience gained in the great world organizations, with only one goal: that the voice of Italy counts more, wherever you discuss travel, culture and hospitality. Because Italian tourism is today one of the great success stories of the country: a sector capable of generating value, work and prestige even in the most difficult times – continues -. I would like to thank the President of the Council, Giorgia Meloni, who wanted me for this task in 2024, to ministers Daniela Santanchè and Gianmarco Mazzi, to the Ministry of Economy and Finance and to Mr Gianluca Caramanna, who has never let me miss his support, along with all the structure and staff of the Ministry of Tourism”.
“I am also deeply grateful to the associations of category, to the Regions and to all the tourism industry, with which I had the privilege of working in these years in a spirit of collaboration, confrontation and common commitment. But the most true thanks goes to my travel companions in CdA, to the management of ENIT and to the women and men who make up the team: it is to them, to their resilience, that we must a good part of the journey. And it is thanks to all of them that today I leave an Agency more present on the global scene, more authoritative, more aware of its strategic role for the country – he adds -. Those who are called to lead an institution have the duty to serve it with absolute dedication, without ever saving themselves, and that is what I tried to do every day. Now it is time to give a new face to my career, returning to devote myself fully to what remains the heart of my interests: academic commitment and international institutions. To those who will have the privilege of driving ENIT after me leave only one omen: continue to focus on young people and their formation, because it is there that the tourism of tomorrow is built. My work for Italian and international tourism is not interrupted: it changes only form, and will accompany me with the same conviction of always in every new chapter”, concludes Priante.

ENIT S.p.A. expresses his thanks to the outgoing President Alessandra Priante, who during his office, contributed to the international strengthening of ENIT as a strategic agency of promotion of the nation. Thanks to its contribution, the role of the Agency has been strengthened in coordinating the main international contexts made possible by the important relations with the Institutions, the Regions, the operators of the sector and the partners, favouring an increasingly integrated promotion model.
