MILAN (ITALPRESS) – On the Pnrr “it was obviously not a simple path, but we have respected the roadmap and today we can claim with a hint of pride that we were up to the task.” This was said by the President of the Council Giorgia Meloni, in a video message for the event “L’Italia del Pnrr” in Milan. “Thanks to the choral commitment of the Italian system, ministries, central administrations, regions, provinces, municipalities and actuators, we have succeeded in always keeping the step – the premier explained – Italy has reached and maintained over time the European primacy in implementation.” According to Meloni, it is “a primacy testified by the numbers we have matured so far and that will continue to grow in the coming weeks and in the coming months: 166 billion euros received, 416 goals achieved, 660.000 projects financed, of which 550.000 completed and about 100,000 in advanced phase of realization”.
On the implementation of the Pnrr “now we just have to do the last mile, probably the most challenging, but as it happens also in sport, this is the decisive moment in which we have to give the maximum and push as much as possible on the realization because the finish line is in sight and really misses very little to cut it. To the Italians we promised that we would first improve the Pnrr and then we would have implemented it step by step, and that is what we have done without stopping us, not even in front of the bigger unexpected. For us, commitments with citizens must always be respected. The Pnrr is not something abstract, so thanks to the work we have done and thanks above all to the work we will continue to do to win this challenge”, he added.
