ROMA (ITALPRESS) – “As the Report on the implementation of the Plan emerges, the revision approved on 27 November by the European Commission delivered us a PNRR at the height of the new challenges of the Nation, strengthening the effectiveness of interventions in line with European objectives, promoting innovation, simplification and growth.” The Minister for European Affairs, the PNRR and the Cohesion Policies, Tommaso Foti, during the PNRR Directing Cabin chaired by him, with the participation of the Ministers and the Undersecretaries responsible, as well as the ANCI, the UPI and the Conference of Regions and autonomous Provinces, to examine the seventh Report on the implementation status of the PNRR and for the verification of the progress of the objectives. At the end of a punctual verification, the Cabin of Direction adopted the seventh Report on the implementation of the Plan for the subsequent sending to Parliament and took note of the positive progress of the 50 objectives of the ninth rata, of which 16 milestones and 34 targets, involving sixteen Directors.
“With the achievement of all the objectives envisaged, including those of the eighth installment of imminent payment – Minister Foti continued – at the end of 2025 Italy will have received altogether 153.2 billion euros, to which, in the coming months, will be added 12,8 billion euros connected to the attainment of the objectives of the ninth and penultimate rata of the Plan, whose payment request will be submitted by the end of the year. Also the percentage of expenditure is constantly growing: at the date of 30 November last, as evidenced in the seventh Report, amounted to 101,3 billion euros to which will be added the payments made in December and the financial instruments already transferred to the managers, which in fact will bring the total expenditure of 2025 to approximately 110 billion euros “, concluded Foti.
